School is officially out but RI’s community schools are very busy with summer programming for some of the state’s most disadvantaged students!  For little to no cost, students participate in weeks of enrichment programming as they pursue special interests, reinforce academic skills, and explore the state on educational field trips! For information about specific sites, please contact the program director listed on our RI Community Schools page or call Carolyn Birbiglia, Director of RIPCS.

The National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) has many resources for parents, educators and the community at large. Check out their fact sheets and find out how you can help.
